It’s hard to find a simpler opening riff than this, maybe that’s what makes it work? The overall sound of this whole album is amazing to me, very funday indeed!

Is it just me, or is electronic music more organic? Why else is it that electronic music stimulates Mr. Csikszentmihalyi’s state of Flow better than seemingly more organic music, such as rock? I don’t know. Some day, I’ll prove me wrong by posting a twenty minute Fela Kuti tune, and you’ll say, ‘Now that’s organic! I just can’t believe he said electronic music is more organic.’ Anyway, here’s Christian Bloch‘s remix of I am an Exit‘s ‘In the Embers’.

This tune is dedicated to whomever nominated us for the Swedish Podcasting Awards 2006. A complete but happy surprise! It has surely strengthened us in our quest of making people more uppsluppna. To celebrate this, here’s Skatalite Lester Sterling delivering a klockren fundayrkare derived from the old Charlie Parker tune ‘Barbados’.

Happy playing and good vibes, I love this guitarist and his keyboard player is amazing. The lyrics might be considered a bit corny but who cares? It’s Funday! Jam away!

I like the attitude of Mr. Stoll. No intro, just start playing. And I like how this song is like … it’s like it has found its perfect form. Mr. Stoll knows this is how this song ought to be. There’s some variation in it, but I’d say it’s mainly there to bring the attention to how monotonous it is. Still, it’s far from monotonous. There are several layers. Pay attention to one layer and the others fade into the background. Pay attention to another and the one you just paid attention to fades back. It’s like those stereogram pictures or something. With this song on repeat, you get hours of Mr. Csikszentmihalyi’s state of Flow. Trust me!
